What real weather does to a mushroom.

Most functional mushroom extracts on the shelf start as powder grown on sterile grain, far from whoever's selling it. Ours is different. We grow our extract mushrooms outdoors, in real Florida weather, and for Chaga and Turkey Tail we partner with wildcrafters up in Michigan and Oregon.

A mushroom that grows through real sun, real air, and real weather has to work for it. The compounds it builds to handle that are the same ones people come to these mushrooms for in the first place. It just makes sense that one grown the way nature intended comes out with more of them.

You can see it in the harvest. Through the cooler months our Lion's Mane comes in huge and full and white, closer to a head of cauliflower than anything from a clean indoor room. The taste is better and the texture is better. That's a grower's observation from six years of doing it, not a lab result.
